UNIFORMS
The blue shirt, orange Tiger neckerchief and slide are
all new this year! The Tiger Totem is worn on the button of the right
breast pocket. See the section below for patch placement. Remember to use your Tiger badge to measure down the
proper distance below the left pocket flap to leave room for
the Bobcat badge. Blue jeans look great with all scout uniforms. The Cascade Pacific Council patch (it
has a fish on it) is centered on the left sleeve and touches
the shoulder seam. The pack numeral (737) patches are
centered below and touching the council patch. The den number patch is centered below and
touching the American flag on the right sleeve. The Wapiti district patch (it has an elk on it) is
centered over the right breast pocket below the flap. The World Crest patch (small, round and purple) is
centered on the left breast just below the lapel point. The diamond shaped rank badges (Tiger through
Bear) are positioned on the left pocket just below the flap
in the order shown above. Note: Because the Tiger badge is earned first, you will
have to use it to measure the space below the pocket flap
which will later be occupied by the blue Bobcat badge. Arrow points are positioned on either side of the
Tiger badge in the pattern shown. Arrow points earned as a
Wolf scout are placed under the Wolf badge and those earned
as a Bear scout are positioned under the Bear badge. Activity segments are placed in any order around
the Wapiti district patch on the right breast pocket. It is
best not to place segments under the pocket flap where they
are completely covered and can't be seen. The World Conservation Award (it has a panda on
it) can be placed on the right breast area between the lapel
point and the pocket. The Webelos shirt patches are placed in the same
positions as above with following additions: The Patrol emblem patch is centered and touching
the den number patch on the right sleeve. The Webelos colors are pinned just below the
patrol patch. The Webelos badge is positioned on the left breast
pocket just below the flap. The Arrow of Light award is worn on the left
pocket flap centered just above the button. Shoulder loops are worn with the seemless side up. Blue jeans or green scout pants can be worn. The adult leader shirt patches are positioned as above
with the following additions: The leader rank insignia is centered below and
touching the pack numerals on the left sleeve. The "Trained" patch is centered below and touching
the leader insignia on the left sleeve. A name plate may be worn over the "Boy Scouts of
America" patch on the right breast. Several leader neckerchiefs and bolo ties are
availbale from the scout shop. Note to female leaders: You may choose to wear
either the yellow blouse or the tan shirt. Several scarves
and a scarf ring are available at the the scout shop. Notes to Tiger coordinators: Orange shoulder loops
are NOT used in Cub Scouting for Tiger leaders. Please use
the blue shoulder loops. You may choose to wear a uniform
shirt or blouse but the orange Tiger T-shirt and sweatshirt
are acceptable. Tiger leaders do have their own unique scarf
for use with the tan shirt or yellow blouse. Adult leaders should set a high mark for all scouts by
having a complete uniform in good repair. The proper scout
pants are encouraged. Temporary patches (such as those earned at camp)
may be worn in a plastic holder which attaches to a shirt
button. These holders are available at the scout shop.
